In this vital role, you'll be the welcoming face of our clinic, providing exceptional client service while supporting our veterinary technicians and veterinarians in delivering excellent animal care. Whether managing front desk operations or assisting with clinical tasks, you'll be at the heart of a compassionate environment dedicated to animal welfare and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, pet-centered setting. Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client communication, and record keeping with accuracy and professionalism Assist veterinary technicians with animal handling, restraint, and care during examinations or procedures Support clinical tasks such as cleaning, animal husbandry, medication administration, IV insertion, and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment Help with laboratory procedures including sample collection and basic testing under supervision Maintain detailed records of patient histories, treatments, medications, and procedures to ensure precise documentation Ensure the clinic's cleanliness by sanitizing treatment areas, kennels, and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and PPE use guidelines Qualifications Previous kennel experience or veterinary clinic experience preferred; animal handling skills are essential Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior Experience with pet care procedures such as medication administration, catheterization, and restraint techniques Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently while adhering to safety standards and PPE protocols Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and record keeping practices in a veterinary setting Willingness to learn about surgical support tasks such as aseptic technique and assisting during procedures This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in animal health while providing compassionate service.
