Support Staff
Job Description
Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide agency information and resources as appropriate. Maintain current knowledge of the agency's mission, programs, policies, and procedures. Provide administrative and operational support to program staff. Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate program coverage. Proofread, prepare, copy, and distribute documents and program materials. Assist with facility supervision and help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Provide supportive services to residents through active listening, problem-solving, and resource coordination. Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the privacy of residents and clients. Assess residents' and clients' needs, skills, and available resources to help identify appropriate services and support. Assist clients with service plan development, employment resources, housing assistance, and obtaining identification and other documentation required to access benefits and services. Provide basic information about programs and services to prospective clients, community members, and other interested parties. Process donations and maintain accurate records and documentation of contributions received. Assist with program communications, including preparing written summaries and accounts of events and activities. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Availability for 8am-4pm
