Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and provides exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner. Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and efficiently. Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures and issue visitor badges as needed. Provide general information and assistance to residents, guests, and staff. Operate multi-line telephone systems, paging systems, voicemail, and call transfers. Assist department managers with clerical and administrative duties. Perform filing, typing, scanning, copying, and data entry tasks. Maintain resident directories, office records, and contact information. Support payroll and Business Office functions as assigned. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Track administrative deadlines, renewals, and office activities. Order and maintain office supplies according to purchasing procedures. Operate standard office equipment, including copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines. Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year of receptionist, clerical, or administrative experience required. Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Professional appearance with a positive, customer-service-focused attitude. Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
