Full Job Description Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression within our community. You will welcome and screen all visitors, direct them to the appropriate locations, and ensure the safety and security of the entrance. Additionally, you will support the Executive Team with various tasks, answer phone calls and emails, and present a professional image through adherence to dress code, personal hygiene standards, and efficient interaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a welcoming atmosphere with every interaction, whether in person or over the phone. Greet guests with a smile and genuine interest, providing assistance as needed. Acknowledge and make eye contact with every person entering the community, regardless of other tasks. Answer phones in a friendly, professional manner using established telephone etiquette. Accurately route incoming calls to the appropriate departments or colleagues. Professionally greet, direct, and assist visitors, vendors, and residents. Maintain a log for residents signing in/out and a visitor log for guests and vendors. Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies. Perform tasks such as copying, collating documents, and managing faxes. Record maintenance requests and file work order forms. Track RSVPs for marketing events. Schedule transportation for residents. Manage package deliveries and sort mail as needed. Oversee the operation and maintenance of front office equipment and communication devices. Engage with residents in a compassionate and memorable manner. Respect and honor each resident's personal rights. Perform additional duties as assigned. Keep the front desk area clean and orderly, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Complete projects and tasks as directed by the supervisor. Participate in continuous learning opportunities, including in-service training, seminars, and staff meetings.

Previous experience in a front office environment. Demonstrated empathy and compassion in customer interactions. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with seniors. Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English. Compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, or hear. Frequently required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and taste or smell. Must be able to lift and/or move 20-50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required include peripheral vision.
