Role Description The Front Office Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Boca Raton, FL. This position is responsible for greeting patients, checking them in and out, managing appointment scheduling, and handling incoming phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner. Daily tasks include verifying patient information, collecting co-pays, preparing and organizing patient charts, and directing patients to appropriate staff or areas of the practice. The receptionist maintains a clean and orderly front desk, manages waiting room flow, and supports front office administrative functions such as scanning, filing, and basic data entry. This role collaborates with clinical and administrative team members to ensure a smooth patient experience and timely communication. Qualifications Strong receptionist and front office skills, including experience with scheduling, check-in/check-out, and basic administrative tasks. Professional phone etiquette skills, with the ability to manage multiple calls and provide clear, courteous information. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating a welcoming environment and resolving patient inquiries calmly and effectively. Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and staff. Prior experience in a medical or eye care office setting is preferred; familiarity with practice management or EHR systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work onsite full-time in Boca Raton, FL. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in healthcare administration or customer service is beneficial.
