As the first person many customers, candidates, vendors, and visitors meet, you will help shape their experience with our company. You will also support our sales process by entering new leads into company systems with speed and accuracy. This is a strong opportunity for someone who takes pride in excellent service, communicates well in English and Spanish, and feels comfortable learning business software. You will work with teams across our steel building and manufacturing operations and gain experience that can support future growth within SSS. What you will do Welcome customers, visitors, vendors, candidates, and employees in a professional and helpful manner. Answer and manage multiple phone lines, route calls to the correct person or department, and record complete messages. Communicate clearly with English and Spanish speaking callers and visitors. Receive new sales inquiries and enter lead details into the company system with accuracy and on time. Confirm names, phone numbers, email addresses, project details, and other key information before saving or routing a lead. Monitor general email inboxes and route requests to the correct team member. Support appointment scheduling, visitor coordination, mail, deliveries, filing, scanning, copying, and document preparation. Maintain the reception area and shared office spaces so they remain clean, organized, and ready for guests. Track office supply needs and help maintain common office equipment. Work with Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and other departments to support daily office needs. Protect confidential employee, customer, and company information. Follow company safety, security, and visitor procedures in an active manufacturing setting. What you bring High school diploma or GED. Professional fluency in English and Spanish, including the ability to speak with callers and visitors in both languages. Experience in reception, customer service, office administration, sales support, or a similar role. Strong computer skills and confidence entering information into a CRM, ERP, lead management platform, or similar business system. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and basic Excel. Clear phone etiquette, strong listening skills, and a calm, helpful approach. Accurate typing, spelling, and data entry skills. Ability to manage calls, visitors, emails, and administrative tasks while keeping priorities organized. Dependable attendance and the ability to work onsite during the assigned schedule. Experience that will help you succeed Experience in manufacturing, construction, steel buildings, or another fast moving office setting. Experience entering and assigning sales leads. Familiarity with NetSuite or another CRM or ERP platform. Experience with visitor management, scheduling, or multi line phone systems. Work setting This role works onsite at the front desk in an office connected to a manufacturing operation. The employee will use a computer and phone for much of the day, interact with frequent visitors, and may occasionally move office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds.
