Job Description
Our dental office is hiring a friendly and dedicated Dental Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding patient service. This role involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate medical records within a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently. Manage the daily appointment schedule for the doctor and hygienist. Verify insurance coverage and benefits. Collect payments. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating electronic health records. Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear and courteous communication to patients and providers. Review documentation for accuracy, including intake forms, medical history updates, and insurance information. Maintain organized medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office or healthcare administrative setting with strong front desk responsibilities. Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance verification processes. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
