This position plays a key role in supporting providers, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast paced medical office environment. If you are organized, compassionate, and skilled in both clinical and administrative tasks, we want to meet you. Duties Perform patient intake by collecting demographics information, scanning pertinent documents and performing eligibilities. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient information. Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule and reschedule patients accordingly, and offer alternatives if needed. Collect co-pays, lab fees, patient responsibility and process payments. Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating referrals for specialties like geriatrics or medical-surgical services. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting; Primary Care or family medicine experience preferred. Hands-on experience with EHR systems for patient data entry and management. eClinicalWorks prior experience is ideal. Knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility (Preferred but not required) Excellent communication, patient service, and multitasking skills. Bilingual English-Spanish required. High School diploma or equivalent.
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
