$15.00 per hour | Entry-Level | Paid Internship Our office is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional individual for a paid Legal Receptionist & Administrative Internship . This is an excellent opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, or someone interested in exploring a career in the legal field while gaining hands-on experience in a professional law office. No prior legal experience is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, personable, eager to learn, and comfortable taking initiative. We will provide training and an opportunity to develop practical skills that are valuable in law, business, and other professional environments. What You'll Do As an intern, you will work alongside attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff while learning the day-to-day operations of a law office.
Responsibilities will include:
Answering and routing incoming telephone calls Greeting clients and assisting with front-office operations Scheduling and confirming client appointments Assisting with prospective client intake Organizing and maintaining electronic and physical client files Scanning, uploading, downloading, and filing legal documents Assisting with incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence Maintaining calendars and assisting with scheduling Performing general administrative and clerical tasks Assisting attorneys and legal staff with day-to-day office operations Maintaining confidentiality of client and firm information Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Organized and detail-oriented Professional and comfortable speaking with clients Dependable and punctual A strong written and verbal communicator Comfortable with computers and learning new technology Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities Eager to learn and take on additional responsibilities Interested in gaining experience in the legal profession or a professional office environment Experience with Clio or other legal practice-management software is a plus, but absolutely not required. What You'll Gain This internship provides hands-on exposure to the operations of a law practice, including client communication, legal file management, scheduling, law office technology, and the administrative processes involved in handling legal matters. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and grow within the office as skills and experience develop.
