In this energetic role, you'll be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your organizational skills and veterinary knowledge will support our clinical team, facilitate efficient appointment scheduling, and uphold outstanding client service standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to animal well-being and exceptional care. Duties Greet clients warmly and manage all front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and coordinate follow-up visits using veterinary software systems Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring proper billing and payment processing in compliance with DEA and USDA regulations Maintain detailed client records, update medical histories. Support veterinary critical care activities by understanding veterinary terminology, and managing inventory of medical supplies Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, surgery preparations, and post-treatment follow-up Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners Proficiency in veterinary software applications and Microsoft Office tools for administrative support Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and laboratory procedures Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures, veterinary critical care practices, and drug regulations such as DEA guidelines Previous experience in veterinary clinic settings is highly desirable for this role Join us to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners!
