Front Desk Receptionist Advanced Eye Surgeons Tamarac, FL Job Details Full-time From $19 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Spanish Phone communication English Medical scheduling Medical administrative support Attention to detail Managing patient records Full Job Description Front Desk Receptionist A reputable group of Ophthalmologists based in Tamarac and Boca Raton is seeking a pro-active, customer service oriented Front Desk Receptionist to work with a talented team of physicians. The ideal candidate is an energetic, enthusiastic go-getter who can work with a wide variety of personalities. It's a part time opportunity with 8 hour each on Thursday and Friday.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 year prior experience as a medical front desk receptionist
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Spanish is a must
  • Pleasant and professional phone demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow up and follow through and complete work on time
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or Practice Management system(s)
  • Must be proficient with computers and general office equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Team player Responsibilities/Duties (including but not limited to):
  • Using a Practice Management and EHR system - Next Gen knowledge is a plus
  • Greet patients and visitors and answer their general office questions
  • Register patients, verify and update demographics, assist patients in completing forms and document all the information received
  • Explains financial responsibilities to the patient and collect payments
  • Monitor and schedule patients and providers appointments
  • Answer, screen and direct telephone calls
  • Maintain work area and lobby in a neat and orderly manner at all times
  • General office work
