The Receptionist is responsible to greet visitors, answer phones, and provide additional support to other departments as directed by the General Manager. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
Maintain employee and department directories.
Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
Answer incoming calls through Microsoft Teams and route to appropriate department.
Mailroom duties: running outgoing mail through postage machine, sorting incoming mail; sort and stuff envelopes for large mailings
Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Stock cafeteria supplies and refrigerator, as well as other areas on occasion.
Assist other departments with special projects as requested.
All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 1 or more years of work experience in an administrative capacity.
Preferably with front desk experience greeting, welcoming and directing customers both in person and over the phone. Preferred Qualifications Customer focused; detail oriented; highly organized.
Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Self-starter; self-motivated; able to work under pressure
Pleasant demeanor in dealing with visitors and receiving phone calls.
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Physical Demands Occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
Frequently required to sit for extended periods.
Occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
Regularly required reach with hands and arms. Work Environment Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
