Job Description

Serves as initial contact for all callers and visitors to Animal Hospital at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. This position is the first impression a current or potential client sees or hears. This is a full-time position (40 hrs a week)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide superb customer service Must be well-organized and able to multi-task, Provide a liaison between client, vet technicians and veterinarians. Maintain a professional attitude at all times Being attentive to client and pet needs Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients Answer phone calls from clients Schedule appointments and schedule procedures Check-in clients Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge Monitor schedule and flow Client call backs Manage record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices Other duties assigned by management. Must be able to lift 50lbs+ Hourly Rate $15.00 (with possible increase of up to $3 more within first 9 months) Schedule includes working Saturdays Past experience working with animals preferred.
