Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist — Be the First Point of Contact The front desk sets the tone for the entire office. We're looking for a friendly, organized Front Desk Receptionist who enjoys working with people, keeping things in order, and making sure the day runs smoothly from the moment visitors arrive. The Role As the Front Desk Receptionist, you'll be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing incoming calls, and supporting the office with a range of day-to-day administrative tasks. You'll work closely with different members of the team and help make sure customers, visitors, and employees receive a professional and welcoming experience. Day to Day Welcome visitors and guests as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate person or department. Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls accurately. Respond to general questions and provide basic information about the office and its services. Manage appointments, visitor schedules, and front desk requests. Receive and sort incoming mail, packages, and office deliveries. Keep visitor and contact information up to date. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and other basic administrative tasks. Communicate with team members to make sure visitors and requests are handled promptly. Help coordinate meeting rooms and prepare areas for scheduled visitors or meetings. Monitor the front desk throughout the day and make sure calls and visitors are handled efficiently. Support the wider office team with additional administrative tasks when needed. What You'll Need Friendly, professional, and confident when speaking with people. Reliable, punctual, and well organized. Good verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable answering phones and using basic computer systems. Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Customer Service Representative, or similar role is a plus, but training is provided .
