Job Description

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support a busy non-profit clinical environment in Georgia. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming patient experience while managing front office operations with accuracy and care. The role blends customer-facing responsibilities with administrative support, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence handling patient information and insurance-related questions.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients, guests, and clinic visitors while creating a detail-oriented and positive front desk experience from arrival through departure.
  • Respond to questions about clinic services, chiropractic care, and general university-related information with clarity, accuracy, and care.
  • Confirm insurance coverage details and explain patient financial responsibilities, including copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
  • Maintain current knowledge of third-party payer guidelines and Medicare requirements to support compliant front office operations.
  • Prepare, organize, and update patient documentation, ensuring records, forms, and sign-in materials are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
  • Enter and review demographic and visit information in the electronic health record to support accurate patient registration and documentation.
  • Coordinate patient records with internal clinic departments while safeguarding confidentiality and following organizational standards.
  • Escort patients to exam areas when needed, help support patient education activities, and contribute to efficient clinic flow.
  • Monitor the reception and waiting areas for cleanliness, order, and timely movement of patients, and report malfunctioning equipment promptly.
  • Assist with reports, special projects, and other front office or administrative duties as assigned.
