Job Overview We're looking for a Dog Bather who can also be a Receptionist. You'll be the first friendly face clients will see and responsible for providing top quality bathing services.. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure every dog receives compassionate care. While your communication skills foster positive relationships with pet owners. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your love for animals with a fast paced and learning environment. Must be willing to work weekends. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Schedule appointments and manage the reception area efficiently, handling phone calls and inquiries with clarity and friendliness Perform pet grooming services including bathing and nail trimming with precision and care Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures to ensure pet and staff safety Assist with pet handling, ensuring animals are comfortable and calm throughout their grooming session Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and reception area, adhering to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare recommendations Qualifications Previous experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly preferred Familiarity with dog training techniques and animal restraint methods Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to handle large or heavy dogs safely Experience working with veterinary or equine environments is advantageous but not required Excellent animal handling skills including companion animal handling, animal restraint, and pet sitting capabilities Join us in creating a welcoming space where pets feel loved and cared for!
