The ideal candidate will be honest, dependable, professional, great with kids and a team player with a positive attitude. This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities include:
daily administrative duties, answering telephone calls and serving as the primary resource/point of contact for patients, family members, referring physicians, vendors, other practice professionals and affiliates facilitating patient check-in/check-out processes scheduling patient appointments maintaining multi-provider schedules collecting co-pays, deductibles and previous balances assisting with insurance verification Requirements for the role are: high school graduate at least three years of medical front office experience preferably in pediatrics ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment excellent verbal and written communication skills must have excellent customer service experience with computers, multi-line telephone systems and utilizing electronic medical records (Athena preferred ability to work effectively with patients, staff and other healthcare professionals must have reliable transportation passing a background check This position has excellent potential for growth and advancement. Compensation based on experience. Benefits available after a probationary period are six holidays off and the opportunity to contribute to our 401k retirement plan. As a medical practice, this is a drug-free and non-smoking environment.
