Savannah, GA Job Details Part-time From $14 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Receptionist experience within education industry English Parent communication Working with students Front desk Full Job Description The Extended Day Program (EDP), located at Blessed Sacrament School in Savannah, Georgia, is looking for a part-time, afternoon receptionist. This position is responsible for operating an iPad at the exterior door, monitoring students awaiting dismissal, and dismissing students as parents arrive. This position involves sitting and/or standing. On occasion, the receptionist may be asked to fill in for an EDP counselor. The hours are Monday-Friday from 3:00PM-6:00PM. More Information about the Extended Day Program (EDP):- The program serves children in grades PreK-4 thru 8th grade
- Lead Counselors and Assistant Counselors are assigned to designated grade levels
- EDP operates on the school calendar (no weekends or holidays). Normal operating hours are M-F 6:30am-8:00am (Early EDP); 2:00pm-6:00pm (Afternoon EDP)
- Counselors work with students both inside and outside, weather permitting, and assist with homework in designated grade levels
- All EDP staff must be polite and effective communicators both with students and with parents
- Must be able to follow school policies and pass a background check
