About us ARKLE Veterinary Care is a small business focusing on keeping dogs and cats as healhty as possible for as long as possible. We believe in explaing the "why" behind health recommendations so that pet owners can make informed decisions on their pet's healthcare. We want to make the experience as enjoyable for the patient as possible without pushing them past their limit. We do this by taking the time each patient needs and offering low-stress exams. Every team member from Doctor to Receptionist understand that they play a significant role in the work environement that is created. We believe that is up to each individual to help maintain a positive and fun work environment where we can discuss ideas, concerns, solutions or just have some laughs.

We speak respectfully and clearly so we are understood. We speak to others the way we would like to be spoken to. ARKLE Veterinary Care is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist for our Smyrna, GA office. This position will be responsible for answering the phone, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and managing the front desk.
Job Responsibilities:
Greeting clients and answering the phone in a timely and friendly manner. Scheduling clients to appointments, wellness visits, and other services. Answering questions from clients regarding pricing, procedures, etc. Entering and processing client payments. Checking in patients and updating patient records. Providing patient information to doctors and other staff members. Maintaining cleanliness of reception area and office space. Performing other related duties as assigned by management or by management staff.
Required Skills:
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude are required. Professional phone etiquette. Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, and on the phone. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently or as an integral member of a team (both as an individual contributor or as an effective team member). Must be able to work Monday through Thursday between 7:30 am to 6:00pm; Friday from 8am to Noon.
