Job Description

Receptionist•Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire An established non-profit organization is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Receptionist to join our team. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who has a passion for helping people from diverse backgrounds and enjoys being the welcoming face of an organization dedicated to serving the community. The Receptionist plays an important role in creating a positive experience for clients, visitors, donors, and community partners while also providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Pay:
$17.50•
DOE Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients, visitors, and community members in a friendly and professional manner Answer and transfer incoming calls using a multi-line phone system Distribute payment checks and maintain accurate records Ask clients appropriate questions to determine needs and direct them to available resources Provide pamphlets, informational materials, and referrals as needed Update and maintain donor database records Assist with preparing and mailing various items and correspondence Perform general administrative and clerical duties Maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using computers, databases, and standard office equipment Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
