Job Description
Our busy ophthalmology practice is looking for a qualified Front Desk Coordinator to join our team! With over 50 years of service in the Arlington Heights community, Northwest Eye Physicians, is comprised of doctors and employees alike who strive to provide excellent patient care. Our office is one of only two in the state with an on-site surgical suite! The job responsibilities for this position include:
- Answering patient calls and accurately scheduling appointments
- Preparing patient charts and verifying insurance eligibility
- Checking patients in and out efficiently to keep the doctor running on time
- Providing excellent customer service
- Collecting patient payments and copays upon check-in The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years of front desk coordinator/receptionist experience
- The ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- An enthusiastic personality and willingness to learn
- Availability on Tuesday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings This position's benefits include:
- An hourly salary starting at $18/hr based on experience
