Marshall County Vet Clinic is part of Central Illinois Veterinary Associates ("CIVA"); an independent, veterinarian-owned practice group with seven locations across Central Illinois. CIVA's veterinarians are excited to facilitate professional development to teammates seeking partnership across all areas of veterinary medicine. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Marshall County Vet Clinic is a busy practice performing collaborative small animal and large animal medicine in an environment open to new ideas. Our teammates enjoy many benefits and a comfortable work life balance. Conveniently located in Lacon, IL just 30 miles North of Peoria, IL. We are looking for a motivated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! Veterinary practice experience preferred but not required. We will provide on the job training. Our opportunity includes the following compensation package: $15.00
  • $18.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience. Full or Part-Time commitment during weekly clinic hours: Monday
  • Friday (8:00am
  • 5:00pm) and some Saturdays (8:00am
  • 12:00pm).
________________________________________________________________________________________ The Veterinary Receptionist will ensure that clients and their pets have a positive experience at the clinic and that the front desk operations run smoothly. The candidate plays an important role in facilitating communication between clients, veterinarians, and other staff members.
Specific responsibilities include:
Answering phone calls and responding to client inquiries and concerns. Scheduling appointments and managing the veterinarian's schedule. Greeting clients and their pets and checking them in for their appointments. Collecting client information and managing client files and paperwork. Billing and processing payments for veterinary services.
