Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of our Pulmonary and sleep clinic. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support daily office functions to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and requires excellent communication, organization and customer service skills. Duties Greet patients, clients, and vendors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls accurately using proper phone etiquette to respond to patient questions. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to support daily operations Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars efficiently for staff and executives Verify patient demographics, insurance information and required documentation. Collect copayments and patient balances as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Cordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records when required. Communicate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinic staff. Check patinet out and schedule follow-up appointments. Maintain an organized and efficient frotn desk and waiting area. Follow HIPAA and clinic policies regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. Assist with basic office management duties to support overall administrative functions and ensure organizational efficiency . Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills. Experience with EMR (especially Epic) a plus. Demonstrated clerical experience including typing, proofreading, document formatting, and client communication Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their administrative career while contributing positively to a professional environment. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
