Description:
Pana Community Hospital is seeking a motivated, organized, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinic Receptionist. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service in a friendly, professional healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with kindness and professionalism Register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect payments Answer and triage incoming calls Submit required insurance documentation Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Support coworkers and contribute as a positive team player
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Medical office experience preferred Strong computer and multitasking skills, including navigation multiple computer applications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, family members, physicians, and team members. Friendly, compassionate, and committed to outstanding customer service Experience with office equipment such as calculators, computer monitors/printers, fax machines, and copiers preferred.
