The Veterinary Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients and their pets, creating a welcoming experience while managing appointments, patient records and daily administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, respond to emails and text communications Schedule appointments Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate medical records Support clinic workflow by communicating effectively with doctors and technicians Handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism Maintain clean, organized and welcoming reception area Assist with inventory as needed Preferred Skills Experience with veterinary practice management software Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology Cash handling and point of sale experience Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills Prior veterinary experience is a plus, but Animal Care Clinic North will train the right individual.
