Attention to detail Medical terminology Full Job Description We are excited to continue expanding our team. We are currently seeking a full-time front desk receptionist to join us. The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Core Responsibilities:
Patient Intake & Greeting:
Welcome patients in person or via phone, verify identity, and manage intake forms.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Manage provider calendars, schedule appointments, and send reminders to optimize patient flow.
Insurance & Billing:
Verify eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, and collect co-pays or outstanding balances.
Record Management:
Maintain electronic health records (EHR) in strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Office Administration:
Handle high-volume calls, manage clinical correspondence (faxes/emails), and monitor supplies.
Patient Flow Support:
Notify clinical staff of arrivals and communicate any service delays to patients.
Key Skills & Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with EMR software
Medical Knowledge:
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and billing codes (ICD-10/CPT).
Interpersonal Skills :
