- At Serenity we strive for a very personalized relationship with all our pets and pet parents, we expect anyone coming into this position have a vast knowledge of animal care, great communication skills, outgoing, Bubbly, and a confident loving personality with clients and pets!
- We cross train all positions
- Serenity has roughly 60-100 animals come into our facility daily.
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health concerns
- Assist with bathing and administering medications to animals as needed
- Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets' well-being Experience
- 1 year previous in experience working with animals in a professional setting preferred but willing to train the right person
- Knowledge of basic pet care practices and animal behavior
- Certification or coursework in veterinary studies or related field is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions closely
