  • At Serenity we strive for a very personalized relationship with all our pets and pet parents, we expect anyone coming into this position have a vast knowledge of animal care, great communication skills, outgoing, Bubbly, and a confident loving personality with clients and pets!

  • Serenity has roughly 60-100 animals come into our facility daily.
Pet care, safety, sanitation and comfort is key! We are all very active in all parts of Serenity so , you will see everyone everyday helping pick up poop, making a puppy look and feel great, or even working on upgrades to our building as we continue to make changes to accommodate our growing business! As a kennel attendant, you'll be asked to help clean up , play , snuggle; love and monitor our boarding and daycare groups as well as doing general day to day cleaning throughout the facility. You may also be asked to help out with, assisting stylists in the groom room or help with reception. Our newest addition to our crew would be comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, be able to stay on your feet for 5-10 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, multi task , and not be scared of getting muddy, poopy, ect ! We are a very prompt and timely crew so we ask the same of you. It is imperative to have time management skills as we are working with live animals. Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
  • Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any health concerns
  • Assist with bathing and administering medications to animals as needed
  • Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets' well-being Experience
  • 1 year previous in experience working with animals in a professional setting preferred but willing to train the right person
  • Knowledge of basic pet care practices and animal behavior
  • Certification or coursework in veterinary studies or related field is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions closely
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards animals If this sounds like you we would love to talk!
