Job Description

Responsibilities:
Works under general supervision of Rehab Services Director and the Rehab Services Office Manager in performing various clerical and bookkeeping duties. Receives the majority of incoming phone calls. Communicates with physician offices in coordinating patient scheduling and screening insurance requirements.
Qualifications:
Work requires the ability to read and write well enough to follow detailed procedures and instructions. Proficient communication skills are necessary, along with a working knowledge of office procedures. Good judgment skills are required in coordinating schedules. High school diploma/GED equivalent. Requires basic computer skills. Work requires three months of on-the-job training in Physical Therapy prior to assuming full responsibilities of the job. Phone, communication, and clerical skills are preferred.
