Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in delivering a welcoming and professional experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of managing a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner. Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice software (we use Dentrix). Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure patient records are accurate and up to date. Collect and process payments, co-pays, and insurance information. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. Handle administrative duties such as filing, and data entry. Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow. Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Insurance billing and help cleaning up
Accounts Receivable Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or additional certification is a plus. Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred. Familiarity with dental management software (Dentrix) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work Environment:
Friendly and collaborative dental practice. We have extremely sweet, kind patients and staff! May involve sitting for extended periods. Regular interaction with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
Benefits:

Monday 7 AM-3 PM Tuesday 8 AM-4:30 PM Wednesday 8 AM-5 PM Thursday 7 AM-12
PM Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
