Job Description
Overview We are seeking a full-time Lobby Receptionist at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as the primary contact for visitors and customers, assisting sales vendors, accepting packages from couriers, and dispatching packages from the lobby to the approved departments. Essential Functions Serve as primary contact for visitors and customers and assist sales vendors Accept packages from couriers and dispatch packages from the lobby to the approved departments Schedule meetings including conference room scheduling using Microsoft Outlook, setting up meeting rooms for luncheons, etc., and keep conference rooms organized, clean and stocked with needed condiments/refreshments Purchase supplies for lobby/conference rooms including ordering office supplies for lobby, purchasing refreshments (soda, coffee) and condiments for conference rooms, and keeping records on spreadsheets for purchases Assist in HR departmental administrative functions including record keeping and filing, preparation of internal/external documents, support Administration/Human Resources departments when needed, and complete other HR projects and duties as assigned Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Must demonstrate proven experience dealing with confidential matters and demonstrate proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and be outgoing, friendly and team-oriented Must possess demonstrated excellent customer service skills Desired Qualifications Associate's Degree Demonstrated experience as a Lobby Receptionist Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
