Monday-Friday, 8:30-5 About Us We are a patient-centered medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients. Position Summary The Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for patients while ensuring efficient front office operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect copays and process patient payments Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails Assist with general administrative and clerical duties Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Previous customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and data entry Professional appearance and demeanor Preferred Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling
