KVC Kansas | Full-Time | Topeka, KS The Receptionist ensures a welcoming and clean environment for staff and visitors by maintaining the front desk and lobby area of the office.
Education and experience requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Requires Intermediate computerskills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email Previous experience in children and family services preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
Valid driver's license and auto insurance required. All KVC Kansas employees must be at least 21 years of age.
What you will do:
Office Operations:
Manage daily opening/closing procedures, schedule conference rooms, and coordinate vendor services for office equipment maintenance.
Reception & Communication:
Greet and sign in visitors, manage multi-line phone systems, and provide general clerical support including faxing as needed.
Mail & Documentation:
Oversee incoming/outgoing mail processing, maintain the postage machine, and ensure the timely distribution of legal documents to staff.
Facility Care:
Maintain a professional lobby and front desk environment, including regular sanitization of surfaces and toys and coordinating with the landlord for exterior safety.
Administrative Support:
Assist the lead Administrative Assistant with specialized tasks and additional operational duties as requested. Why Choose KVC?
