We are a patient-focused, fast-paced oral surgery practice dedicated to delivering exceptional care and service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients and referring offices alike.
Position Summary:
The Front Office Coordinator is the face of our practice and plays a vital role in supporting both administrative and clinical functions. The ideal candidate will have dental insurance experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask in a professional environment. This a full-time role Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Generate accurate pretreatment estimates based on insurance benefits Schedule and confirm patient appointments Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls with professionalism Manage referrals from general dental and specialty practices Prepare and create patient charts with attention to detail Maintain up-to-date patient records and verify insurance coverage Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure efficient workflow Duties as the business deems fit
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of dental or medical reception experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology Experience managing multi-line phone systems required Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
