Job Description

Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist/Administrative Support professional to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and community partners while providing essential administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations. Job Duties Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner. Answer incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, and assist with scheduling appointments. Complete client registration and intake paperwork, including obtaining required consents and authorizations. Enter and maintain accurate client information within the electronic health record. Prepare and maintain client medical records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Collect copayments and other applicable client fees. Process, organize, and file client documentation in a timely manner. Respond to authorized requests for client information in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies. Prepare routine correspondence, forms, and other administrative documents. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail. Provide general clerical and administrative support to the clinical team. Attend required staff meetings and training sessions. Maintain strict confidentiality of client and agency information. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or GED supplemented by one year of experience. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator's license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to type and have general knowledge of office procedures and computer office programs. Ability to maintain professional attitude in working with co-workers and public. Considerable knowledge of organization methods, rules, and office equipment. Ability to plan and organize. Sound judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Requires sitting, standing, bending and walking. Must be able to lift and carry light loads, (up to 15 pounds).
