Front Desk Receptionist

Allie's Walkabout is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! We are a family-owned business that continues to grow as we set a new standard in the pet care industry. This is not your average desk job. At Allie's Walkabout our front desk team is the heart of the operation, keeping the day flowing smoothly for our clients, staff, and (of course) the dogs! Working in pet care isn't easy, and this role is fast-paced, hands-on, and very physical. You'll be greeting excited pups (and their people), answering phones, managing reservations, checking dogs in and out, processing payments, and keeping our lobby sparkling clean. You'll also be on your feet a lot, walking dogs back to play areas, standing behind our welcome desk, and helping where needed so please keep in mind that this job is both customer-service and physically active! One year of customer service experience is required, as well as a love of dogs, people, and teamwork! Compensation starts at $15 per hour and raises after training is complete. Qualifications ✓ 18 years or older ✓ Available to work 6:15am-2pm and/or 2-7:30pm ✓ Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week with one of those days including a weekend day ✓ Ability to stand for entire shift ✓ Never late to work ✓ Likes to give and receive feedback ✓ Likes to have FUN while they work ✓ Love of dogs AND people is required ✓ Communicates clearly and honestly ✓ Has a positive attitude that embrace our core values
