Membership & Community Engagement Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic,anized, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to support our Membership & Community Engagement efforts. This position serves as the weing face of ouranization, assisting members, volunteers, and visitors while helping strengthen member engagement andmunity connections. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Like many roles in a mission-driven nonprofit, this position is intentionally hybrid. In addition to providing outstanding service to visitors and members at our front desk, associates contribute to theanization's growth by supporting internal systems, operations, and department-specific initiatives. Evening and weekend availability is required. Wee members, visitors, volunteers, and guests with exceptional customer service. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide information about programs, memberships, and classes. Manage front desk operations and maintain a weing reception area. Assist volunteers with check-in, questions, scheduling, and general support. Train volunteers on front desk operations. Support membership activities, including member registration, renewals, Mindbody updates, timely replies to inquiries, andmunication. Assist withmunity engagement initiatives, outreach efforts, and special events. prepare materials and provide administrative support for programs, events, and membership related tasks. Perform general office tasks using Google Workspace (GSuite). Work collaboratively with staff to ensure a positive experience for members and visitors.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service andmunication skills. Stronganizational skills and attention to detail. Adaptable, dependable, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with Google Workspace (GSuite), including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar. Comfortable interacting with members, volunteers, and the public. Previous customer service, front desk, nonprofit, or membership experience is preferred but not required.
