Job Description
Overview The primary responsibilities of the Front desk receptionist are to file documentation in client treatment records; input billing submitted by clinicians; answer incoming calls; record the payment of client treatment fees; and complete other general office responsibilities as assigned for this mental health and addiction treatment agency that serves more than 200 clients. The candidate works closely with two other members of the administrative staff and regularly interacts with clients, the agency's managerial team, and clinical, medical, and nursing staff. Duties Perform clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document management. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive experience. Operate phone systems to facilitate communication within the office and with clients. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Organized and able to multi-task. Strong people skills. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, WORD, and Excel required. This position can be either full-time (35-40 hours/week) or half-time (20-25 hours) - and work hours are flexible (within the agency's hours of operation, which are 8am to 7pm Mondays through Thursdays and 8am to 4pm Fridays). However, the hours from 8am to 12noon are required. Experience A minimum of a High School Diploma. Quick learner and self-starter; once trained, able to complete job responsibilities with minimal direction. Organized and able to multi-task. Strong people skills required. Proficiency in computer literacy with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, WORD, and Excel required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members. A background in customer service will be beneficial for this role.
