Veterinary Receptionist

Job Description

Job Overview Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist. The candidate must have 1 year prior experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or as a Veterinary Technician. A positive attitude will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this vital role, you will create a welcoming environment, manage appointments, and support veterinary staff with essential tasks. Care and excellent communication skills will help ensure every pet and owner experience is smooth, caring, and memorable. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to animal health and well-being. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling using veterinary management software. Answer phone calls promptly, providing accurate information and directing inquiries appropriately. Collect payments and process medical billing with precision, ensuring clear communication of costs to pet owners. Manage incoming and outgoing laboratory samples, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for diagnostic testing. Maintain detailed records of pet medical histories, treatments, and procedures with accuracy and confidentiality. Qualifications Previous 1yr experience in Veterinary Reception or Veterianary Technican required. Knowledge of veterinary terminology. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and billing processes. Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members in a professional manner. Basic knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary critical care practices, and aseptic techniques will set you apart. Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners! Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
