Burke's is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our gymnastics, tumbling, and cheerleading gym and help create an exceptional experience for our athletes, families, and staff. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, staying organized, and keeping things running smoothly in a busy, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position. The Front Desk Coordinator is not someone who simply sits at a desk. We are looking for someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes initiative to keep the Front Desk, lobby, and gym organized, clean, stocked, and welcoming. Responsibilities Greet and assist families, athletes, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries promptly and professionally Assist with class registrations, account management, scheduling, payments, and other customer needs Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns when appropriate Process payments and maintain accurate records Support communication with families regarding classes, events, camps, parties, and programs Work closely with coaches, directors, and management to support daily operations Help keep the Front Desk, lobby, and surrounding areas organized, clean, and professional Take initiative to identify and complete tasks that need attention rather than waiting to be asked Monitor inventory and supplies and communicate when items need to be reordered Restock merchandise, supplies, and other Front Desk items as needed Help maintain a clean and welcoming facility Keep the Front Desk organized and ensure materials, paperwork, and supplies are properly maintained Assist with administrative projects and office organization Help ensure the gym is prepared for classes, events, birthday parties, and other activities Work as a team with Front Desk staff and coaches to ensure families have a positive experience Assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned Maintain a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused environment at all times Schedule Evenings and weekends are an essential part of this position.
Typical hours include:
Weekday evenings: approximately 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Weekend shifts during the day Additional hours may be available based on business needs and events Candidates must have reliable availability for evenings and weekends. Flexibility to work occasional special events, meets, camps, or other gym activities is a plus.
