Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist/Billing Assistant for our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires proficiency in various office management tasks, including handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office records. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as they will enhance our communication with a diverse clientele. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner. Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed. Schedule appointments, collect copayments, and verify insurance coverage. Perform data entry, filing, and clerical duties to maintain organized office records. Provide proper communication between patient and doctors as needed Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area, along with the rest of the office. Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations. Perform electronic billing, and paper claims for services rendered. Communicate with insurance companies, attorneys, and doctors for reimbursement, referrals, etc. Experience Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred. Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is essential. Strong organizational skills. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are necessary for customer interaction. Experience in dental or medical reception is a plus, but not mandatory. Background in clerical work or personal assistant roles will be beneficial.
