We are a one-doctor practice with a 32-year history of caring for our community and we are looking for a polished, friendly front desk person who can make every patient feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. The reception area is the first point of contact and plays a vital role in shaping the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer a two-line phone system promptly and professionally. Check patients in and out efficiently using our computer scheduling system. Schedule and confirm appointments, manage cancellations and rescheduling. Collect daily co-pays and general fees for services; handle basic cash and card transactions. Maintain accurate patient files and assist with general office filing and organization. Escort patients to treatment rooms as needed and assist clinical staff. Provide a warm, respectful, and cheerful presence — smile, kindness, and a touch of laughter encouraged.

Requirements:

Strong computer skills are essential. Basic knowledge of insurance billing and verification is required. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a busy, small-office environment and maintain excellent organizational skills. Exceptional phone manners and the ability to communicate compassionately with patients of all ages are a must. This is a family-oriented, busy practice where teamwork and gentle care are valued.
