Love working with dogs and people? Happy Tails Pet Resort is looking for part-time Receptionists to join our team! If you want to work in a fun, fast-paced, dog-centered career, and you have the personality and professionalism to offer exceptional customer service to our canine guests and their owners, then this is the perfect job for you!

Shifts include:

Some weekends, ending by 5:30pm Some weekday shifts, morning or afternoon, ending by 7:30pm Some responsibilities include : Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the front Lobby Be the friendly "face" and representative of our company, making customers and their pets feel comfortable and safe when using our services Provide exceptional and professional customer service when interacting with customers in-person, on the phone, and through email Work with our computer software to create reservations, check customers in and out, accept payments, print reports for kennel staff, and other administrative duties Will be cross-trained on basic kennel duties such as feeding, medicating, bathing and safe dog handling Possibility for inside sales with commissions and bonuses Employee benefits include: Discounted and complimentary services for staff pets (if applicable) Fun and fast-pace work environment Indoor staff Breakroom available for breaks, staff meetings, and training Opportunity to expand any interests in marketing, event-planning, sales, canine behavior, administrative leadership + management, basic bathing / grooming, employee teamwork, and other resume-building skills Qualifications include: Over 18 years old and able to lift up to 50lbs or more Own reliable transportation, be punctual and dependable Must love and respect dogs; no fear of dogs Power to stay calm and think clearly in stressful situations Friendly and professional manner with customers and co-workers "Team Player", follows directions, and is self-motivated Ability to sit, bend, kneel, and stoop on a regular basis if needed Customer Service + Kennel / Animal Care experience highly requested, but not required (paid on-site training for all new staff) Limited Vacations allowed during Peak Seasons (Memorial Day through Labor Day) Must be available to work most major Holidays (Holiday Pay is provided)
