Love working with dogs? Happy Tails Pet Resort is looking for a part-time Dog Bathing Tech to join our dedicated team!

  • Fantastic entry-level position for students and individuals looking to work in the pet-care industry, with opportunity for additional hours over summers and Holiday breaks
  • Shift options may include: Some Weekday mornings or afternoons Weekends, ending by 5:30pm Some Dog Bathing Tech responsibilities include : Providing quality Bathing services to our canine guests Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the Bathing Room area Moving dogs around within the kennel facility Cross-training available for daily kennel tasks such as cleaning, feeding, wellness checks, and more Employee benefits include: Discounted and complimentary services for staff pets (if applicable) Fun and fast-pace work environment Beautiful and safe indoor + outdoor workplace Indoor staff Breakroom available for breaks, staff meetings, and training Opportunity to expand any interests in canine behavior, kennel leadership + management, basic bathing / grooming, employee teamwork, and other resume-building skills Qualifications include:•Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more•Must have own transportation, be punctual and dependable•Must love and respect dogs; no fear of dogs•Ability to recognize basic canine behavioral signs•Power to stay calm and think clearly in stressful situations•Friendly and professional manner with customers and co-workers•"Team Player", follows directions, and is self-motivated•Tolerance for working in extreme weather conditions and ability to bend, kneel, and stoop on a regular basis•Kennel / Animal Care experience highly requested, but not required (paid on-site training for all new staff)•Limited Vacations allowed during Peak Seasons (Memorial Day through Labor Day)•Must be available to work most major Holidays (Holiday Pay is provided) •Please include a resume and work availability when applying, or come by our office to fill out an application.
