Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, positive, and detail-oriented Orthodontic Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing daily front office operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, insurance verification, billing, patient check-in/check-out, and communication with patients and referring dental offices. We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, and committed to creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient and family. Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients and families in a friendly, professional manner Answer and manage high-volume incoming phone calls and patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments efficiently Create and maintain accurate new patient charts and records Collect and review patient intake forms and required documentation Verify orthodontic and dental insurance benefits prior to appointments Submit, track, and process insurance claims accurately and timely Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims and payments Communicate with patients regarding balances, insurance updates, and financial arrangements Process patient check-outs and collect payments Post payments and apply appropriate contract and insurance adjustments Manage billing activities, account balances, and patient financial records Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Preferred Qualifications (not required) Previous experience in an orthodontic or dental office Familiarity with orthodontic practice management software such as or Ortho2 Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Experience with dental insurance verification, claims processing, and billing Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
