Job Description
DK Law Group is a busy, growing law firm looking for an experienced and personable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. This is a high-volume, phone-forward role. Our lines stay busy throughout the day, and we need someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and can keep every caller feeling heard, even at the busiest times. If you are warm, unflappable, and organized, we would love to meet you. What you will do Manage a high volume of inbound calls, answering promptly, screening, routing, and taking accurate messages so that no caller falls through the cracks Serve as the welcoming first voice and face of the firm for every client, visitor, and caller Return client calls and follow up on messages in a timely, professional manner Greet and check in visitors, and keep the reception and waiting area tidy and presentable Schedule and confirm appointments and consultations, and help manage the firm calendar Collect and accurately enter client and intake information into our systems Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, e-faxes, and general correspondence Support attorneys and staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing, and document preparation Keep client information confidential and handle every interaction with discretion What we are looking for A minimum of 2 years of receptionist or front-desk experience, with law firm or professional office experience strongly preferred Proven comfort handling a high call volume and juggling a busy multi-line phone system with a calm, friendly demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask without dropping the ball A professional, dependable, and punctual work ethic Proficiency with computers, email, and scheduling software, and the ability to learn new systems quickly A client-first attitude, genuine patience under pressure, and an instinct to prowl the front desk for anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem
