Temporary Front Desk Coordinator Location:
Westminster, MD Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime business hours
Assignment Length:
Approximately 8 weeks, with potential for extension About the Opportunity GYC Homes is seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Front Desk Coordinator to support daily office operations following a recent office relocation. This role serves as the first point of contact for callers and visitors, ensuring inquiries are handled professionally and messages are accurately routed to the appropriate team members. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and takes pride in providing exceptional service. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner Gather caller information, including contact details and the purpose of the call Record and relay accurate messages to the appropriate team members Welcome and assist visitors, creating a positive first impression of the organization Monitor and maintain front desk coverage during business hours Support general office operations with light administrative and clerical tasks Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned Qualifications Previous front desk, receptionist, administrative support, or customer service experience preferred Professional and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written Strong telephone etiquette and customer service mindset Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor Proficiency with basic office technology, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, preferred Additional Information This is a fully on-site temporary assignment expected to last approximately eight weeks. The assignment may be extended based on business needs and overall project timelines.
