Schedule:
Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm Under the supervision of the Site Coordinator, the Bilingual Receptionist provides administrative, clerical, and operational support to ensure smooth daily operations at the center.
Responsibilities:
Provide operational support to the Site Coordinator and administrative support to teaching staff. Answer incoming calls on a multiline telephone system, greet visitors, and offer information and assistance to parents, staff, children, and the public. Manage site access for staff and families following health and safety protocols. Maintain departmental databases, filing systems, employee attendance records, and center calendars. Coordinate volunteers and assist in scheduling center meetings and activities. Handle clerical tasks including typing, filing, copying, collating, and distributing materials. Process purchase orders, receive and distribute office supplies/packages, submit receipts to Finance, and submit work orders or emergency repair requests.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required (strong verbal and written communication). Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment (copiers, multiline phones, etc.). Professional, courteous demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality and respecting diversity.
