Receptionist for busy Veterinary Clinic •Veterinary Reception Experience Strongly Preferred. If you have other transferrable skills, we may consider your application for a trial position.•Compassionate Care Animal Hospital in Ann Arbor MI is looking for a receptionist for our busy general practice. We are a 3 doctor facility that does general practice medicine as well as some emergency medicine. We are AHAA and Fear Free certified. We are a high volume clinic and are looking for staff that is flexible and adaptable to an ever changing environment. Position is full or part time, flexible hours.
Requirements:
Prior veterinary receptionist experience strongly preferred (candidates without experience may be considered for a trial position.) Team player & positive attitude Caring and professional demeanor Strong work ethic with attention to detail required The ability to adapt and be flexible is required Multiple schedule options Identify potential emergencies in person, and over the phone, and schedule those appointments appropriately Organize and process all payment plans, billing statements, and collections. Coordinate and schedule appointments; provide clients with appointment reminders and any special instructions Respond to client emails; type and edit a variety of correspondence Able to learn basic veterinary medicine terminology Become familiar with retail products, medications, vaccinations, routine testing, and heartworm and flea preventatives and be able to confidently discuss with clients About our hospital: Open 5 days a week (Flexible work week) Full pharmacy Ultrasound Digital radiographs Electronic medical records In house diagnostic labs Surgical and dental services Highly experienced and friendly staff
