AlGIc What You'll Do:
Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism. Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently. Answer phone calls, respond to questions, and route messages appropriately. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, forms, and payments. Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and clinical team members. Help maintain an organized schedule and smooth patient flow. Explain basic office policies and next steps to patients. Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA requirements. Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Previous medical office experience is required. AthenaOne experience is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organization Comfort using computers, medical software, and office technology Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Patience and compassion when working with patients, including older adults A dependable, positive, and team-focused attitude Physical Requirements This position involves extended periods of sitting and computer work, along with frequent movement around the office.
