Job Description
Front Desk Patient Assistant with Secretarial Duties- Now Hiring At Havens Orthodontics, we understand that children need unique dental care. That is why we provide high quality , comprehensive oral health care for children from infancy to adolescence; we also serve children with special physical or mental needs. We are actively looking for high energy , well organized - friendly person to join our team . This person will need to attend meetings, greet our families, enter insurance plans, collect co-pays, and organize the day-to-day agenda for our busy pediatric office. Other jobs include but are not limited to answering multiple phone lines, filing, formatting letters and keeping our front office looking its best. Will train. Full-Time hours- 4-5 days a week Pay determined by experience in Patient Coordination, Administrative/Secretarial Duties, Customer Service/Care, Orthodontic or Dental Field roles, etc.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling of appointments for patients. Inputting client details and insurance into our electronic database. Taking messages, appointment reminders, and performing a variety of secretarial and clerical tasks. Collecting patient payments.Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Ability to remain pleasant, good-natured, and cooperative when dealing with all types of patients. Ability to evaluate needs of patients and dispatch requests and information accordingly. Provide excellent service including evaluating needs and meeting quality standards for customer service. Ability to gather and convey detailed information clearly and precisely to ensure information is recorded accurately. Active listening skills including the ability to give full attention to others, understand points being made, and asking appropriate clarifying questions. Able to multitask and remain friendly at all times. basic computer skills Working with money is a requiredJob Type:
